Umbono Film Screenings is back this new year with our first edition taking place at Artistry Sandton with 2 amazing films to kick start the year we start the screenings with Beyond The Blackout a short film by Vuyo Novokoza and our 2nd film Umhlaba Wokhokho by Nondumiso Masache both films are noted for addressing pressing South African social issues, these are more than fitting as our opening films, as this year we want to focus on opening conversations around human rights, governance and our continued fight against gender based violence.
