On the 5th of September 2025, the MEC for Education, Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Mr Matome Chiloane hosted key players and partners of the creative and cultural sectors at Indaba Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre. This engagement provided an important platform to connect with industry leaders, explore opportunities for collaboration, and reflect on the role of partnerships in driving Gauteng’s growth. By uniting government and business, job creation, small business support, and investment can boost the local economy. These joint initiatives also help governments modernize services and adopt new technologies faster to build important infrastructure: roads, schools, parks, broadband access, utilities improving daily life for residents.
