Festive Cheers, One Screen at a Time: Christmas Special Film Screenings in Gauteng
This festive season, The Metallic Cabal funded by Gauteng Film Commission are proud to bring joy and celebration to three orphanage homes across Gauteng with the Christmas Special Film Screenings, themed “Festive Cheers, One Screen at a Time.” The program will take place at:
• Dzulani Children and Youth Care Centre, Vosloorus – 14 December 2024
• Boitumelo bo Ekeditsweng Home, Sebokeng Zone 12 – 18 December 2024
• Jehovah Jira Orphanage Home, Soshanguve Block GG – 20 December 2024 Event Highlights:
• Start Time: 11:00 AM at all venues
• Activities: The day will feature a screening of a family-friendly South African film, interactive games, art sessions, and other engaging activities designed to bring laughter and joy to the children.
• Lunch and Surprise Gifts: All children will be treated to a festive meal and special gifts, with the homes receiving a donated large-screen smart TV to ensure entertainment continues beyond the event. This initiative is not only about spreading holiday cheer but also aims to provide lasting support for
these centres. The program reflects our commitment to making a tangible impact in vulnerable communities by bringing positivity and resources into their spaces.
