Hybrid platform: 3 days event of celebrating the past aligned with the current issues faced by the coloured youth in the most neglected coloured townships. This is an opportunity for the youth to view film screening produced by the youth and offer communities film practitioners to showcase they work. The events will focus on impacting the youth by Hosting film Screenings and skill development workshops with a strict focus on “Film as a Career” as well as entrepreneurship. We will also afford upcoming artists, DJ’s and musicians a platform to showcase their craft.

Purpose of the Event
The main purpose of the event is to provide the community of Riverlea, Eldorado and Rabie Ridge and surroundings the audio-visual experience through film screenings and skills development workshops to development future leader in the sectors. The events will also provide the opportunity of local groups to showcase their talent through a diverse range of arts, culture, audio- visual in celebrating youth month.
 In the midst of the pandemic, the events will promote safe health and COVID-19 practices while showing gratitude to the community of Riverlea, Eldorado and Rabie Ridge for the role they played in preserving their culture and identity. Through music, film, dance, project will be divided into three:

  1. Skills development workshops
  2. Active Youth in Motion Films Screenings
  3. Music and Comedy 

Dates : 22 July Eldorado Park 29th July Riverlea 5th August Rabie Ridge.
