It gives us great pleasure to share an update on the Step Up 2 A Green Start Up Programme thus far.
The team has been working hard to ensure that the programme inspires as many budding young entrepreneurs as possible to join the Planet Earth’s Support Crew.
Thanks to your committed support, we have reached all projected milestones of the programme thus far. Without your contributions and participation, the programme and its intended socio-economic impact would not be possible. With the last national cinema screenings completed on 25 September, the focus for the schools that participated is entering the Step Up National Youth Entrepreneurship Competition. We are excited to receive their innovative business models and ideas! Based on the feedback from the learners in the cinemas, we are well on our way to creating creative climate activists with a flair for entrepreneurship.
The official interim report for the programme will be submitted at the end of October and the final comprehensive report will be prepared in December for presentation from January 2022.
We need your help
As we have completed face-to-face cinema screenings, we now transition to excelling in the drive for learners and teachers to take advantage of the digital platform. We have created Primetars Digital to reach more learners. Grade 10, 11, and 12 learners from Public Schools across the country have free access to the platform (zero-rated by Cell C) and can watch the film then enter the competition online. We, therefore, need your assistance in distributing the attached flyer (far and wide) to your school networks and beneficiary organisations for them to participate on www.primestarsdigital.co.za
